Kansas-Texas Tech Football Game Slated for 2:30 p.m., Kickoff on FOX Sports Net

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will travel to Texas Tech for a 2:30 p.m., game on Saturday, Oct. 18. The KU-TTU matchup will be televised on FOX Sports Net (FSN), the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
 
KU’s game with Texas Tech will mark the Jayhawks’ third appearance on FSN in 2014 as the Jayhawks have faced both Central Michigan and West Virginia on the network.
 
Texas Tech leads the all-time series with Kansas 14-1, including a 7-1 mark in games played in Lubbock. KU defeated the Red Raiders, 34-31, in overtime in 2001 at Jones AT&T Stadium.
 
Prior to facing the Red Raiders, Kansas will host No. 16/18 Oklahoma State, Saturday, Oct. 11 in Memorial Stadium. FOX Sports 1 will carry the game with kickoff slated for 3 p.m. Tickets are available by visiting KUAthletics.com or calling 800-34-HAWKS.
