Ticket Plans for 60th Celebration Announced

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Athletics is rolling out the ticket pricing plan for the “Celebrating 60 Years” event on James Naismith Court on Oct. 27, as coaching legends Ted Owens, Larry Brown, Roy Williams and current head coach Bill Self reunite for a special evening inside Allen Fieldhouse. Jay Bilas will serve as Master of Ceremonies.     
 
Members of the Williams Education Fund (WEF) at the Hall of Fame, Champion and All-American levels, along with members of the K-Club and current KU students, may purchase tickets beginning on Monday, Sept. 15.
 
Tickets for the remaining WEF levels will be available to purchase beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Tickets for the general public will be on sale Monday, Sept. 22.
 
Kansas Athletics has established a variety of pricing options to reach all levels of fans with the proceeds benefiting the Assists Foundation and the participating coaches’ charity of choice. For patrons wanting an intimate experience, 10-seat tables, seated on James Naismith Court, are available for $5,000 each. Those packages include food, beer and wine, two reserved parking passes, one 60th Celebration logo chair autographed by all four coaches, one 2014-15 autographed team basketball and a commemorative piece of Allen Fieldhouse floor for all table guests. 
 
Program-only seating within the stands of Allen Fieldhouse is also available for purchase, with a maximum order of 10 tickets per account. Tier 1 seats are $60 each (limited lower level and chairback seating), Tier 2 is $40 (2nd level bench seating) and Tier 3 is $25 a seat (3rd level bench seating).  K-Club member tickets are available at $25 per person (located in Tier 2 seating).  Seat locations will later be allocated according to WEF membership level and tickets will be mailed in advance. 
 
KU students may purchase a maximum of two tickets at $15 each located in a designated section.
 
The doors for the non-dining guests will open at 7 p.m., with the program slated to start at 7:30 p.m.
