KU Hosts Movie Night at the Ballpark & Jayhawks for a Cure Game

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas baseball returns to Hoglund ballpark for a crucial three-game Big 12 series against Baylor, May 1-3. The Jayhawks will host Movie Night at the Ballpark along with several other fun activities in store for the second-to-last home series of the 2015 season.  
 
The Jayhawks kick off the series May 1 with Aloha Friday. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of $1.50 and $2.50 shaved ice along with a Hawaiian lei giveaway, while supplies last.
 
On Saturday, May 2, fans can enjoy their choice of $1 hot dogs or chilidogs, along with a mini helmet giveaway, while supplies last. Twenty-minutes following the conclusion of the game, all fans are invited onto the field for the playing of Rookie of the Year as the Jayhawks host its annual Movie Night at the Ballpark. Those in attendance are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, pillows or any other essentials to make it a comfortable viewing experience. Items prohibited include sunflower seeds and gum.
 
Kansas rounds out the weekend with its annual Jayhawks for a Cure game for the Sunday finale with the Bears, May 3. Prior to the start of the game, all are welcome to the West parking lot to take advantage of the Fun Zone, featuring inflatables, a balloon artist, a face painter and FREE food provided by the Alumni Association.
 
During the game, stop by the concession stand for $1 Coke floats and receive a pink pom giveaway, while supplies last. All fans that wear PINK will receive $5 admission.
