Here are some nuggets of information for Jayhawk Nation to keep in mind as Kansas heads to the 2018 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in Omaha (March 23-25):
 
The Team:

• Though many call this Kansas’ 31^st Sweet 16, its third straight, it is officially KU’s 23^rd advancement to the Sweet 16, as in its first eight the Jayhawks drew a bye to the round of 16.
• Kansas is 10-1 this season versus the other 15 teams in the Sweet 16: 3-0 vs. West Virginia, 3-0 vs. Kansas State, 1-1 vs. Texas Tech, 1-0 vs. Kentucky, 1-0 vs. Syracuse and 1-0 vs. Texas A&M.
• Kansas is playing Clemson for the first time in men’s basketball. Should the Jayhawks beat the Tigers and advance to the Elite Eight, KU would face the winner of the Duke and Syracuse game, also on Friday, March 23. Kansas has played Duke 11 times, with the last during the 2016-17 season, and Syracuse six times, with the most recent meeting taking place earlier this season, a 76-60 KU win in the Hoophall Miami Classic on Dec. 2, in Miami, Florida.
• Kansas has played six games in the NCAA Tournament in Omaha where it has compiled a 5-1 record. Two of its three trips to CenturyLink Center Omaha have led to Final Four appearances (2008 and 2012).

 
Individually:

• In the Seton Hall (March 17) victory, Kansas senior guard Devonte’ Graham became the 13^th player in Kansas history to score 1,700 career points. He stands 13^th with 1,700 all-time points.
• Also in the Seton Hall win, Graham set the KU single-season record for minutes played, currently at 1,355.
• Career-wise, Graham ranks 13^th on the KU scoring list (1,700), fifth in assists (619), second in 3-point field goals made (287), second in 3-pointers attempted (702), seventh in steals (194) and second in minutes played (4,379).
• Senior guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is just one 3-pointer away from tying for the Kansas single-season record of 111 set by “Downtown” Terry Brown in 1990-91. Mykhailiuk’s 110 threes are second, while Graham’s 101 are fifth. This is the first time in KU history that two Jayhawks have made 100 or more 3-pointers in the same season.
• Sophomore center Udoka Azubuike remains the only player in NCAA Division I to shoot 70 percent or above (with a minimum of five made field goals per game). Azubuike is shooting 77.5 percent from the field in the 2017-18 season and is currently on pace to crush the Kansas and Big 12 single-season records for field goal percentage.
