2012: Junior Season
Manned the libero position for 32 of 33 matches for Kansas, missing her only match of the year due to injury… Needed just three years to break KU’s career digs record and did so in the final match of the regular season, finishing her junior year with 1,498 total… Also shattered the previous single-season digs record by a Jayhawk, becoming the first player in program history to record 600-plus digs in a season (613)… Surpassed the 20-plus dig plateau in 13 matches, the 30-dig mark twice and the 40-dig milestone once… Finished second on the team with 23 service aces… Kicked off the year with 24 digs, two aces and a kill against Northwestern State in the season opener (8/24)… Dug 26 balls at Arkansas (8/25) en route to being named the Outstanding Libero of the Arkansas Invitational… Turned in 23 digs to help KU knock off RV Tulsa (8/31) for the first of many KU wins against top-25 or receiving votes opponents in 2012… Posted back-to-back 20-plus dig matches in wins against Arizona State (9/7) and Wyoming (9/8)… Led the defense with 33 digs in a five-set victory over RV Creighton (9/19)… Caught fire as the conference season started, rattling off four-straight 20-plus dig performances, including a career-high 43 digs in KU’s five-set win at RV Oklahoma (10/10) – breaking a Big 12 record for most digs in a match… Led a gutsy Jayhawk squad to a near upset against 2012 National Champion No. 9 Texas (11/10), tallying 26 digs as KU fell 15-12 in the fifth set… In the last two matches of the regular season, Riley broke the single-season record (previously 549) against Saint Louis (11/21) and the career record (previously 1,457) against Texas Tech (11/24)… In NCAA Tournament play, Riley notched 16 digs in KU’s first-round win against Cleveland State (11/30) and 23 in the Jayhawks’ second-round loss to Wichita State (12/1).

2011: Sophomore Season
Started all 29 matches at libero for the Jayhawks… Recorded double-digit digs in all but two matches on the season… Finished the season with 482 digs, third all-time by a Jayhawk, and 17 aces… Her 4.34 digs per set in 2011 ranks fourth all-time at KU… Recorded three aces and 20 digs against Belmont (9/2)… Had four aces in back-to-back matches against Appalachian State (9/2) and South Dakota State (9/3) where she also had 13 and 12 digs, respectively… Recorded two aces and 23 digs in a match at No. 15 Northern Iowa (9/9)… Served two aces and had 20 digs against Valparaiso (9/17)… Had a career-high 34 digs in a four-set match at Baylor (10/1)… Recorded 20 digs against Nebraska-Omaha (10/4)… Had 22 digs at home vs. Texas A&M (10/8)… Set up four assists and had 24 digs at Missouri (10/12)… Posted a season-high five assists against Oklahoma (11/16)… Closed out the season with back-to-back matches of 20-plus digs against Kansas State (20, 11/23) and Baylor (28, 11/26).

2010: Freshman Season
Kansas[apos] top defensive performer in 19 matches… Played libero for the majority of the season and led the Jayhawks with 4.11 dps, which ranked fourth on KU[apos]s single-season record list… Her 403 digs for the year ranked as eighth-most in program history… Had 19 matches with double-digit digs, including the final six contests of the year averaging 5.62 dps in that span… Dug 20-plus balls on six occasions… Recorded a personal-high six assists three times… Collected 15 digs and was perfect in 34 service receptions to help Coach Bechard to his 200th KU victory versus Texas A&M on Sept. 18, which ultimately resulted in Big 12 Conference Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 20… Collected 24 digs in the first three sets at Colorado on Sept. 25 but was sidelined for the final two sets due to injury… Dug a career-high 32 balls at Texas A&M on Nov. 10 to tie for the fourth-most digs among conference players during Big 12 matches… Tallied another 30-dig outing with 30 scoops versus Kansas State on Nov. 24.

High School
Selected an all-state player by several media outlets as a senior in 2009 at Benet Academy and was named volleyball player of the year by the Naperville Sunafter helping her team to the sectional championship… Also garnered ESPN Rise Volleyball player of the week accolades during the season… An all-conference selection as a senior and awarded hardest worker, most encouraging and MVP by her team… In 2008, her back court skills landed her a spot on PrepVolleyball.com[apos]s defensive dandies list… Member of the Redwings[apos] state runner-up team in 2008… Also lettered in track and basketball.

Personal
Daughter of Frank and Lynn Riley… Has a sister, Lindsey, and two brothers, Jimmy and Danny… Her father played football and baseball at Benedictine… Majoring in community health and nursing.
