2015 (Senior)

Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team… Honored as Big 12 Pitcher of the Week twice (3/6 and 4/15)… Started 21 games and made 29 appearances in the circle… Led the Jayhawks’ pitching staff with a 2.38 ERA… Ended the season 12-7 and with 130 strikeouts… Threw six shutouts and 10 complete games… Fourth in the Big 12 in shutouts… Posted four double-digit strikeout efforts… Moved up two spots to eighth in Kansas’ all-time career strikeouts, hurling 473 in her first three seasons wearing the Crimson and Blue… Tossed first-career no-hitter and only Kansas’ 24th no-hitter in program history at Jackson State University (2/22) striking out five-consecutive batters… Was two outs away from throwing a perfect game at UMKC (4/9) and sat down 19 consecutive batters in order… Tossed back-to-back shutouts against South Dakota State (3/11) and Jackson State (3/15) for 12-consecutive scoreless innings pitched… Threw first shutout of 2014 against Western Carolina (2/15) giving up only two hits and striking out 10 batters… Struck out 10 batters for the third time against Murray State (3/1)… Pitched third complete game against Utah (3/8) recording fifth win of the season… Hurled third shutout against South Dakota State (3/11) only pitching through five innings as the Jayhawks run-ruled the Jackrabbits.

Started 25 games and made 31 appearances in the circle… Led the staff with 13 victories and a career-high 172 strikeouts… Fourth in the Big 12 with seven shutouts and 16 complete games, while her 172 strikeouts were sixth-best among conference pitchers… Became one of 10 Jayhawk pitchers to record 300 or more career strikeouts – doing so in only two seasons (343)… Picked up her first win of the season by shutting out North Carolina State (2/8), allowing just one hit and striking out eight in six innings… Got her second win of the season in a relief appearance at Florida International (2/8)… Picked up first save of 2013 against Georgetown (2/9)… Pitched a complete game against UT-Chattanooga (2/15), allowing just one run and striking out nine in seven innings to pick up her third win of the season… Earned save number two against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (2/22)… Threw a five-inning shutout, allowing just one hit and striking out nine, in the first game against Stony Brook (3/3)… Pitched a complete game in her second appearance against Stony Brook (3/3), striking out 12 and allowing just one run over seven innings to pick up her fifth win of the year… Threw a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits over seven innings against Michigan State to get her sixth win of the season (3/8)… Pitched another complete-game shutout against Louisiana-Monroe (3/10), allowing just two hits and striking out 10 for her seventh win of the season… Picked up her eighth win of the season against Texas Tech (4/5)… Pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits and striking out eight in seven innings in the first game of a doubleheader at Furman (4/13)… Pitched five innings, struck out 10 batters and didn’t allow an earned run in the series finale at Furman (4/14)… Threw a complete game and struck out eight batters at Oklahoma State (4/20) to get her 11th win of the year… Pitched a five-inning shutout, allowing just one hit and striking out 10, in the first game of a doubleheader against UMKC (4/24), her sixth-career one-hitter… Threw seven more shutout innings in the second game of the doubleheader with UMKC (4/24), allowing just two hits and again striking out 10.

Named KU’s Pitcher of the Year… One of three Jayhawk starting pitchers… Made 29 starts and 11 appearances in relief for the Jayhawks… Finished the season with a 17-12 record and a 2.67 ERA… Recorded 171 strikeouts in 167.2 innings pitched on the season… Her 17 wins marked the most by a Jayhawk since the 2008 season and tied her for third all-time by a KU rookie… Recorded eight shutouts, the most by a Kansas pitcher since 2006… Pitched a complete-game shutout (five inn.) while giving up one hit and striking out eight against SE Louisiana (2/11)… Threw a complete-game shutout while giving up three hits and striking out a career-best 13 against Northern Colorado (2/12), the most strikeouts by a Jayhawk since 2009 and only one shy of tying the Kansas record… Pitched a complete-game shutout while giving up two hits and striking out 11 against Stony Brook (2/18)… Pitched a complete-game shutout (six inn.) against Connecticut (3/2) allowing one hit and striking out 10… Pitched a complete-game shutout while giving up four hits and striking out eight against Wisconsin (3/3)… Tossed another complete-game shutout surrendering four hits and striking out six against North Florida (3/10)… Threw all eight innings while giving up two hits and striking out 11 to shutout Oklahoma State (3/23)… Pitched a complete game, struck out five and gave up two earned runs, against Missouri State (3/27)… Surpassed KU’s 2011 strikeout leader just 11 appearances into the season… Pitched her 11th complete game of the year, while striking out six and not allowing an earned run, in a win against No. 22/25 Baylor (4/7)…. Pitched her 12th complete game of the year (Five inn.) while striking out four and giving up one run on two hits against Wichita State (4/11)… In game two, Pille recorded her Big 12-best fourth save of the season – the most by a Jayhawk pitcher since the 2007 season… Pitched two complete games in the Iowa State series (4/20-22) and appeared once in relief while only allowing five runs over the three days, including her third one-hitter of the season in the series finale (4/22), where she needed only 58 pitches to get her eighth shutout of the year… Pitched a complete game, giving up one run and five hits while striking out six to get her 16th win, in the first game of the doubleheader with UMKC (4/25)… Picked up her 17th win of the season in relief in the second game against UMKC (4/25), pitching 2.2 innings, giving up one hit and no runs… Her 17 wins marked the most by a Jayhawk rookie since 2001 (Kara Pierce, 22) and tied her for third-most by a KU freshman.

High School
Played four years for coach Michelle Booker at Royse City HS… Named the District 13-4A MVP after throwing 16 shutouts, nine no-hitters, three perfect games, striking out 431 batters and posting a 0.32 ERA during her senior season… Helped the Bulldogs to a bi-district championship in 2010… During that same season, threw two perfect games and nine shutouts while averaging just over 16 strikeouts per game… Named University Interscholastic League (UIL) Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2010 and 2009 and was selected as the UIL Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2008… Royse City made a regional quarter final appearance her freshman season… Also lettered in cross country twice… A National Honor Society, student council and FCA member.
