Career Honors: 2012: Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors. Named to the Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll during spring semester.2010: KU Compete Team Defensive Player of the Week vs. Iowa State.

2012 (So.): Converted from defensive line to offensive line during the offseason… Played in all 12 games, seeing time on special teams and on the offensive line.

2011 (RFr.): Appeared in all 12 games, making starts against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State … Recorded one of KU[apos]s three sacks against McNeese State … Tallied a solo tackle at Georgia Tech … Made two tackles and added a quarterback hurry at Iowa State … Two of his six tackles were behind the line of scrimmage … Tallied two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries.

2010 (Fr.): Named KU compete team defensive player of the week vs. Iowa State… Redshirted his first season at Kansas.

High School: Earned second-team all-league defensive linemen honors… Recorded 53 tackles with 11 tackles for loss, including six sacks… Also recorded three passes broken up… As a tight end he caught seven passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns… Lettered three seasons as a defensive end and tight end.
