2016 (Sr.): Started all 12 games, splitting time at left and right tackle… Recorded a team-high 37 knock-down blocks as assessed by the coaching staff… Earned a 78 percent overall grade on the season… Rhode Island: Started at left tackle for the first time in his career and helped pave the way for 570 yards of total offense in the victory… Tied for the team’s highest overall grade and recorded a team-high five knock-down blocks against the Rams… Ohio: Posted a team-best four knock down blocks… at Memphis: Started at right guard and posted two knock-down blocks… at Texas Tech: Started at left tackle and posted two knock-down blocks, increased his team-leading total to 13 through four games… TCU: Earned the offensive line’s highest overall grade at 86 percent, while knocking down a Horned Frog defender three times… at Baylor: Earned KU’s Offensive Player of the Week honors after earning a 79 percent overall grade and missing no assignments… Oklahoma State: Earned an 80 percent overall grade, highlighted by an 82 percent pass protection grade to go along with two knock-down blocks against the Cowboys… at Oklahoma: Totaled a team-high-tying four knock-down blocks against the Sooners and registered an 89 percent pass protection grade… at West Virginia: Earned an 83 percent pass grade against the Mountaineers… Iowa State: Tallied five knock-down blocks and earned an 85 percent overall grade against the Cyclones… Texas: Graded out at 89 percent and registered six knock-down blocks in the win over the Longhorns… at K-State: Graded out with an 82 percent run assessment against the Wildcats.  
 
2015 (Jr.): Started nine games at right guard for the Jayhawks in his first season… South Dakota State: Started at right guard in his debut and helped Kansas to its most yards of total offense (577) since 2007… Recorded a team-best 4.5 knock-down blocks against the Jackrabbits… Memphis: Helped pave the way for 194 rushing yards at right guard with three knock-down blocks… at Rutgers: Started at right guard and posted two knock-down blocks… at Iowa State: Started at right guard and recorded a knock-down block… Baylor: Made his fifth-straight start at right guard, registering one knock-down block… Texas Tech: Rotated in at right guard and helped KU to its most passing yards in 2015 (330)… at Oklahoma State: Graded out as KU’s highest-rated offensive lineman after a start at right guard and a team-best three knock-down blocks… Oklahoma: Did not play due to injury… at Texas: Rotated in along the offensive line… at TCU: Started at right guard, posted one knock-down block and helped KU to over 200 yards passing and 100 yards rushing… West Virginia: Started at right guard… K-State: Started at right guard and helped KU average 4.5 yards-per-play… Tallied two knock-down blocks against the Wildcats.
 
Trinity Valley Community College (2012-14): Played two seasons at Trinity Valley Community College for head coach Brad Smiley… A three-star prospect according to Rivals.com… Saw action as an offensive guard on the 2014 team that went undefeated (12-0)… Helped lead the Cardinals to the SWJCFC championship, the Region XIV championship and the Heart of Texas Bowl title in both 2013 and 2014… Spent the 2012 season as a redshirt.
