Jennifer Clark and Sydney Wilson, two members of the Kansas women's golf team, played extremely well at the Kansas Women's Golf Assocation Amateur Championship earlier this week.
Clark, a sophomore-to-be, won the event, while Wilson, also a sophomore-to-be, finished third. The tournament concluded on Thursday, July 17 at the Leavenworth Country Club. (more)
Meghan Gockel and Sydney Wilson, members of the Kansas women's golf team, were named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Teams for 2008.
To qualify for the team, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's rounds during the year. (more)
