🏈 Heeney Drafted to XFL New York Guardians

In the defensive front portion of the XFL’s inaugural draft, the New York Guardians drafted Jayhawk Ben Heeney with the seventh overall pick on Oct. 16. As a Jayhawk, Heeney played in 40 games amassing 334 combined tackles and four interceptions. Heeney went on to make stops with the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints and the Houston Texans in the NFL.
