KANSAS IS 10-1 ALL-TIME ON NOVEMBER 19; 6-0 UNDER HEAD COACH BILL SELF
November 19, 1993: On the back of 20 points from senior Richard Scott, No. 9 Kansas defeated No. 6 California, 73-56, in the second round of the Preseason NIT tournament in Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks were also led by a Greg Ostertag double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, the first double-double of Ostertagā€™s KU career. Kansas won the 1993 Preseason NIT defeating No. 10 Minnesota in the semifinals and No. 18 UMass in the championship game. Kansas went on to have a final record of 27-8, marking the fifth-straight year the Jayhawks had won at least 27 games.
