Coaches Clinic and Recruitment Education Seminar This Saturday

LAWRENCE, Kan. –
The <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Kansas would like to invite you to the 2007 Kansas Softball Coaches Clinic and Recruitment Education Seminar. The goal of the Coaches Clinic is to educate coaches and parents on the fundamental aspects of the game and drills to help improve those skills that are appropriate for all ages. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
1. Throwing mechanics
2. Pitching
3. Hitting skills and drills
4. Infield fundamentals and drills
5. Outfield fundamentals and drills
Along with the Coaches Clinic will be the Recruitment Education Seminar. The purpose of this lecture is to educate coaches and parents to the NCAA rules regarding the recruitment of potential student athletes and answer frequently asked questions about the recruiting process. Listed below are some of the topics that will be covered and followed by a questions and answer session.
