Volleyball Announces 2009 Summer Camp Dates

LAWRENCE, Kan. –
Five different volleyball camps will be conducted by the University of Kansas volleyball team this summer on the University’s campus beginning in June.
Kansas volleyball will a hold a series of three different position camps including setter camp (June 4), defensive specialist camp (June 4) and hitter camp (June 5). In addition, KU will run two overnight skills camps, which emphasizes the fundamental techniques of volleyball as well as game strategies. Session 1 will take place from July 6-9 and session 2 from July 16-19.
The camps, which are run by Kansas head volleyball coach Ray Bechard along with former and current KU players, are for athletes entering grades 6-12. The cost for position camps is $85 per person and the overnight skill camp costs $225 for commuters and $300 to stay overnight.
