LAWRENCE, Kan.

– Kansas Rowing wrapped up its winter training program in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday. The University of Kansas spent the past 10 days rowing on the warmer waters of Town Lake, the home facility of the Texas Longhorns.

“We had a great winter training camp,” head coach Rob Catloth said. “We took 50 athletes and we felt like we made good improvement with our young squad. It was an outstanding kick off and now we are looking forward to a great championship spring season.”

KU will kick off the spring season at Tulsa, Okla., against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on March 22. Kansas’ lone home regatta is April 13 against the Kansas State Wildcats in the Kansas Cup in Kansas City, Kan.
