LAWRENCE, Kan. – Volleyball (3.25) and women’s golf (3.23) led a parade of eight Kansas Athletics teams with grade-point averages of at least 3.0 during the Fall 2011 semester. A total of 239 KU student-athletes – 47 percent of all student-athletes on active rosters – earned spots on the Athletics Directors’ Honor Roll with grade-point averages of 3.0 or better; 18 of those achieved perfect 4.0 GPA’s.

The KU student-athletes combined for a 2.84 GPA. The six other teams that registered GPA’s of 3.0 or better included tennis (3.13), soccer (3.06), softball (3.05), spirit squad (3.05), swimming and diving (3.02) and men’s cross country (3.00).
