POSITION TITLE: ASSISTANT COACH

STARTING DATE: Soon as possible after selection

APPOINTMENT: Full-time

SALARY: Commensurate with assistant coaches’ salaries at other Division I football schools.

DUTIES: Coaching specific position as assigned by the head coach, identifying and recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, communicating the goals and objectives of the football program to all segments of the University community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:• Bachelor’s degree• 2 years full-time experience at the Collegiate or professional level.• Success in recruitment of student- athletes and proven integrity, leadership skills and knowledge of football.• Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules.• Ability to teach and motivate student-athletes to be academically and athletically successful

PREFERRED:• Knowledge of and commitment to following Big 12 and University rules.
