Kansas’ loss to Colorado…
… Makes Kansas 12-6 overall and 1-4 in Big 12 play.
… Makes Kansas 28-32 all-time against Colorado and 9-17 in games played in Boulder.
… Makes KU head coach Bonnie Henrickson 210-117 overall, 52-55 at Kansas and 3-4 all-time versus Colorado.
Game Notes…
— Sophomore Danielle McCray posted her third double-double of the year with a team-high 12 points and 10 rebounds. She is the first Jayhawk to record back-to-back double-doubles.
— Tonight was McCray’s 13th game with double figure points and third time leading the team in both points and rebounds.
— McCray was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line for the second straight game. She has not missed a free throw during Big 12 play.
— Sade Morris went 2-for-2 from the charity stripe to make the Jayhawks a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line during the contest.
— As a team, Kansas has made 34-of-47 free throws during conference games (72.3 percent).
— Sophomore Kelly Kohn recorded four minutes of playing time at CU in her first game back since Jan. 4 after being sidelined due to an ankle injury. It was also Kohn’s first Big 12 action this season.
— LaChelda Jacobs notched a block against CU, her second one in the last three games.
— Freshman Nicollette Smith had two three-pointers against the Buffaloes and has had at least one three-pointer in 14 games this year and multiple treys in nine of those contests.
— Kansas outrebounded CU 33-30 and has outrebounded its opponents in 13 of its 17 contests this season. Colorado averages a +7 rebound average over opponents.
— KU recorded a season-high 27 turnovers.
–Colorado shot 41.9-percent from the field. KU has held all 18 opponents to under 50-percent shooting.
