LAWRENCE, Kan. – ESPN’s new college basketball road show, College GameDay Fueled by Mountain Dew, will make its second stop on the eight-week tour Saturday at 10 a.m. (Central) at the University of Kansas’s Allen Fieldhouse.
The three telecasts – 10 a.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. – will be an hour long and feature host Rece Davis, analysts Jay Bilas and Digger Phelps (with special appearances by Dick Vitale) and ESPN.com senior writer Andy Katz. The crew will originate from the site of that night’s ESPN Saturday Primetime telecast – #11 Texas at #2 Kansas at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD.
The set of College Gameday will be located in the east lobby of Allen Fieldhouse in the trophy case area. Due to limited space, the 10 a.m. fans for the event will be the first 40 groups of KU student campers. The 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows will be limited to ticketed fans for that evening’s game. All fans attending the College Gameday set are encouraged to wear school colors.
