Position Title: Psychologist

Starting Date: July 1, 2006

Status: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 – $55,000

Duties: Responsible for overseeing and providing mental health/performance psychology services to Student-Athletes.

Qualifications:

Required: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology; License-eligible as Psychologist in the state of Kansas (license required 1 year of employment); Demonstrated competency (e.g. academic training, supervised experience) in sport science (emphasis on sport/exercise psychology; sociology of sport); Two years experience providing mental health and performance enhancement services to athletes in a team environment; Clinical/prevention experience in the areas of eating disorders/disordered eating, substance abuse, and injury rehabilitation.

Preferred: Two years experience providing mental health and performance enhancement services to student-athletes in a Division I institution; Proven experience working with multi-sport programs.
