Postgame Notes

A Kansas loss to Texas A&M…

— Kansas 12-7 overall and 1-5 in Big 12 play.

— Makes Kansas 7-6 all-time against Texas A&M and 2-4 in games played in Lawrence.

— Makes KU head coach Bonnie Henrickson 210-118 overall, 52-56 at Kansas and 0-4 all time against Texas A&M.

Game Notes…

— Tonight was McCray’s 14th game of the season scoring double figure points.

— Sophomore Danielle McCray hit 1-of-2 free throws. It was her first miss in Big 12 play this season.

— Sade Morris scored 10 points for her 12th game in double figures.

— Kansas held the Aggies to 33 percent shooting from the field. It is the tenth time this season that KU has held their opponent under 40 percent. KU has held all 19 opponents to under 50-percent shooting.

— Freshman Nicollette Smith was 2-for-3 from three point range against Texas A&M and has had at least one three-pointer in 15 games this year and multiple treys in ten of those contests.

— Texas A&M committed only nine turnovers compared to Kansas’ 21. The Aggies scored 23 points off turnovers.

— Sophomore LaChelda Jacobs scored 10 points to finish in double figures for the first time since November 24 of this season against SMU (12).

— Kansas went nine minutes in the second half without scoring from the field. The drought lasted from 13:37 to 4:37.

— The Aggies had 21 offensive rebounds.
