Tennis to Play Host to Drake

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The University of Kansas tennis team will return to its home state on Saturday, Jan. 27, to host Drake at the Wood Valley Racquet Club in Topeka, Kan. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m.

The Jayhawks are coming off their first action of the season in which they swept Ball State, 7-0, and fell 5-2 to Indiana last weekend in Bloomington. Kansas was led by freshman Ksenia Bukina and sophomore Elizaveta Avdeeva, who combined to go 4-0 in singles play against the Cardinals and Hoosiers.
