LAWRENCE, Kan. –
University of Kansas diver Meghan Proehl was named the Big 12 Diver of the Week on Wednesday. This is the second conference award for Proehl and the second for Kansas this season.
In Kansas’ last two meets, Proehl has dominated the board. Against Nebraska on Jan. 16, the senior captain from San Diego Calif., won the one-meter dive with a score of 299.97, and the three-meter dive with a score of 298.35. Proehl and the Jayhawks return to the pool when the Jayhawks travel to Ames, Iowa for a two-day meet against Iowa State on Feb. 5. The first day of competition is set to begin at 6 p.m.
