Kansas‘ Win At Colorado…

… Makes Kansas 21-1 on the season, it’s best 22-game record since the 1996-97 team was 22-0, and 29-1 in its last 30 regular-season contests.

… Makes Kansas 12-1 in its last 13 true road games.

… Gives Kansas its 10th straight win against Colorado and fourth straight at the CoorsEventsConferenceCenter, dating back to 2004.

… Makes the all-time series with CU 114-39 in favor of the Jayhawks.

… Improves Kansas head coach Bill Self to 126-30 while at Kansas, 333-135 overall and 9-0 against Colorado.

Game Notes

— Senior Darnell Jackson finished with a team-high 18 points, his 14th outing with double figure points and fifth time in the last six games.

— Jackson finished with a career-best 10 free throws in 10 attempts. His 10 free throws were also the most made by a KU player this season.

— As a team, KU hit 21-of-25 attempts (84.0) at the charity stripe, its second consecutive game shooting over 80 percent from the foul line and fourth time in seven Big 12 games shooting 81 percent or better.

— Mario Chalmers finished with a team-high six assists and has dished out six or more dimes in three of his last four outings.

— Chalmers finished with three steals and has had 12 games with three or more thefts.

— Chalmers also finished with two blocks for his second outing with two or more blocks in his last three games.

— Junior Brandon Rush led the team in rebounds with six for the third straight game (including ties).

— In his last three games, Rush is averaging 15.7 points.

— Senior Sash Kaun’s 12 points were his most in Big 12 play and most since Jan. 8 (14 vs. Loyola). It is his sixth contest with double digit points.

— Kaun was 4-for-5 from the free throw line and is 32-for-48 (66.7 percent) in his last 16 games from the charity stripe.
