Jayhawks' Men's Basketball Victory in Manhattan Earns Huge ESPN Rating

The Kansas Jayhawks’ thrilling victory over Kansas State last Saturday night was a ratings bonanza on ESPN. The 81-79 overtime victory generated a 2.2 Household rating, meaning the game was viewed in 2.2 percent of the approximately 99 million homes that receive ESPN. That translates into about 2.1 million household impressions. It was the highest-rated and most-viewed Big 12 regular-season conference game on ESPN since the start of the conference in 1996-97, and the highest-rated and most-viewed Saturday Prime game on ESPN since March 2008.
