Kansas State at Kansas Men's Basketball Game Time Moved to 8 p.m. Start

Feb. 7, 2005

Tip time for the Kansas State at Kansas men’s basketball game on March 2 has been moved to 8 p.m. (Central), Big 12 Conference and Kansas officials announced Monday.

Originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip, the game will be televised by both ESPN2 and the Jayhawk Television Network. ESPN2 has also picked up the Texas A&M at Oklahoma State game for the same day with a 6 p.m. start. In the state of Oklahoma and the state of Kansas, the ESPN2 telecast will be blacked out in favor of the original rights holders.

The game will mark the last home game for KU seniors Keith Langford, Michael Lee, Aaron Miles and Wayne Simien. Additionally, ceremonies for the 50th anniversary of Allen Fieldhouse are being planned around the March 2 game against Kansas State — the first opponent for KU in the facility on March 1, 1955.
