KU is coming off tough losses last weekend at the hands of Syracuse and WakeForest. Overall, the Jayhawks stand 1-5 on the season and 0-1 in Big 12 play.

Arkansas enters the contest having won four of its first five duals of the season, including its most recent win over No. 44 N.C. State.

Last season, Arkansas notched a thrilling 4-3 victory over Kansas in Fayetteville, snapping KU’s streak of four straight wins. Arkansas holds a 9-7 all-time series lead over the Jayhawks, including wins in each of the past two seasons.

After its date with Arkansas, Kansas will face two other non-conference opponents — BYU and Utah — next weekend in Lawrence before settling into league play.
