… It is KU’s first win against a ranked opponent since March 4, 2009 when Kansas beat No. 5 Baylor in Allen Fieldhouse, 69-45.

… KU is 12-3 at home this season.

… KU is now 43-26 versus Iowa State all-time. The win snapped a three-game winning streak by the Cyclones.

… KU is 289-287 all-time versus schools from the Big 12.

… Head coach Bonnie Henrickson is 6-9 against Iowa State, including 5-8 at KU.

… Henrickson is 112-103 at KU and 270-165 overall.

… Kansas is 709-501 all-time.

… KU shot a season-high 68.2 percent from the field in the first half. The Jayhawks allowed Iowa State to shoot a season-high 69.6 percent in the first half.

Player Notes

KU used the starting lineup of Angel Goodrich, Carolyn Davis, Tania Jackson, Marisha Brown and Monica Engelman. Freshman Diara Moore started in place of Brown in the second half.

– Freshman Keena Mays led the Jayhawks with eight points at halftime.

– Davis tied a career-high with 31 points. It is her 10th 20-point game of the season and her third-straight game scoring in double-figures. She has led KU in scoring in 14 of the 24 games this season. It is her first 30-point game of the season.

– Goodrich played a career-high 43 minutes.

– Goodrich set a career-high with 15 assists. The 15 assists are an Allen Fieldhouse record, breaking Erica Hallman and Lisa Braddy’s previous record of 13, which was last accomplished on Dec. 18, 2004. Her 15 assists rank second all-time in a single game.

– Goodrich has 29 assists in her last two games and only seven turnovers, which is good for just over a 4-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

– Goodrich also recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and 15 assists.
