Kansas In 11th at Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate

HILO, Hawaii –

The Kansas men’s golf team is currently in 11th place, in a 21-team field, at the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at the Waikoloa Village Course in Hilo, Hawaii after posting a second round score of 287 for a two round score of 559.

“We struggled a little bit today,” head coach Ross Randall said. “We let some teams get closer and catch up with us.”

Oklahoma State still leads the tournament after a two day total of 534, followed by Washington who has carded a 542.

Sophomore Tyler Docking is tied for sixth place after he fired a 70 for a two day total of 134. Senior Kevin Ward is currently in a tie for 31st place after a second round 71 for a two day score of 139. Senior Andrew Price shot a 75 and is currently tied for 72nd place with a two round score of 144. Junior Pete Krsnich carded a 74 and sophomore Gary Woodland shot a 72 as each player is now tied for 84th with a score of 145.

“I think we will bounce back and have a good round tomorrow,” Randall said.

Kansas will begin final round action on Friday with shotgun tee-times set to begin at 10:45 a.m. Central time.
