Kansas Football To Hold Awards Ceremony March 6

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will hold its annual postseason Awards Ceremony in the Kansas Ballroom in the Kansas Union on Saturday, March 6. The event will start at 7:30 p.m. and the public is invited at no cost.

The night will include the 2009 highlight video and a number of awards presented to members of the football team. The senior class, which was part of one of the best periods of Jayhawk football with consecutive bowl victories to cap the 2007 and 2008 seasons, will be recognized.

Among the 2009 seniors being recognized are team captains Kerry Meier, Todd Reesing, Jake Sharp and Darrell Stuckey.
