Kansas’ win over Colorado…

… Makes Kansas 14-9 overall and 3-7 in Big 12 play.

… Makes Kansas 29-32 all-time against Colorado.

… Makes KU head coach Bonnie Henrickson 212-120 overall, 54-58 at Kansas and 3-4 all-time versus Colorado.

Game Notes…

— Kansas used the same starting lineup of Ivana Catic, Sade Morris, Danielle McCray, Taylor McIntosh and Krysten Boogaard for the tenth time in the last 11 games.

— Kansas’ 70 points is the most scored for the Jayhawks since they had 71 against Boston on December 30, 2007.

— Krysten Boogaard and Danielle McCray combined to score 16 of the Jayhawk’s first 21 points of the game.

— Boogaard finished with 16 points and is averaging 18.6 points over the last three games.

— Kansas had 12 field goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and only three in the last 10 minutes of the first half.

— Nicollette Smith went 1-for-5 from three-point range and has now hit a trey in 16 of the 22 games played.

— Kansas blocked eight shots in the game which ties a season high. (Jan. 30 at Oklahoma)

— McCray’s 24 points is the third most in her career and only five shy of her career high of 29. Her four assists ties a career high.

— KU out-rebounded the Buffaloes 38-35. It is the 16th time this season the Jayhawks have held the rebounding advantage. They are now 12-4 in those games.
