Notes

–KU played in its first double-overtime of the season. The last time the Jayhawks competed in a double-overtime contest was December 11, 2005 in a 90-87 defeat of Wisconsin in Lawrence, Kan.

–Kansas is 2-1 after shooting 75 percent from behind the three point arc in the first half for only the third time this year. The Jayhawks shot 75 percent in the first half versus Missouri on January 17, 2010 and versus Creighton on December 13, 2009.

–Freshman Monica Engelman scored 10 points in the first 13:30 of the game and recorded a career-high 22 points. Her previous high was 16 against Kansas State on February 7, 2010.

–For her career-high afternoon, Engelman hit 4-of-4 from behind the arc, recording a career-high three-point field goals made. She previously recorded two attempts five times, the last time being against Kansas State.

–Engelman also dished out a career-high six assists, topping her previous career-high five at Kansas State.

–Freshman forward Carolyn Davis registered a career-high 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Her previous high was 20 points at Missouri on January 20, 2010. The last time a Kansas player made 10 or more field goals was Danielle McCray versus Colorado on January 27, 2010.

–Davis also grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds. Davis’ 29 points and 14 rebounds marked her third double-double in the last five games.

–Seniors LaChelda Jacobs and Sade Morris, sophomore Aishah Sutherland and freshmen Engelman and Davis all recorded a career-high minutes played. Engelman played the most with 47 out of 50.
