Kansas‘ win over Colorado…

– Dropped the team’s record to 13-11 overall and 2-9 in Big 12 play.

– Made Kansas 30-33 all-time against the Buffaloes.

– Made head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s record against Colorado 5-5.

– Made Kansas 666-474 all time.

Game Notes:

– The Jayhawks overcame the largest deficit at any point in the game this season (12). KU trailed by nine at Saint Louis before coming back to win, 75-56.

– Kansas erased a halftime deficit of three points. KU’s biggest halftime deficit erased before today was two points at UCLA.

– Kansas had four players score in double figures for the first time since defeating Fairfield, 80-60, on Jan. 7.

– Nicollette Smith scored in double figures for the second time in the last three games. Smith has also been the leading scorer for the Jayhawks in two of the last three games.

– For the first time in her career, freshman Aishah Sutherland scored the first points of the game for the Jayhawks.

– LaChelda Jacobs grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds. Her previous best total was eight rebounds against New Orleans earlier this season.
