Jayhawks Travel to No. 34 Tulsa on Sunday

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Kansas tennis will take on its second nationally ranked opponent of the season when it travels to No. 34 Tulsa on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. Kansas hosted No. 6 Notre Dame earlier in the season.

The Jayhawks are coming off a double-header split, where they lost to Iowa and defeated South Dakota to move to 3-2 on the season.

Sophomore Erin Wilbert went 2-0 in singles play last weekend to tally a team-best 4-1 record.

Sophomore Ekaterina Morozova leads KU at the No. 1 singles position, boasting a 3-2 record. Her only two losses on the season have come against ranked opponents.

Tulsa comes in to the match with a 6-4 record with all of its losses to ranked teams. The Golden Hurricane lost to No. 12 UCLA, No. 25 SMU, No. 17 Arkansas and No. 55 Oklahoma.

Kansas leads the series with Tulsa 11-7-1, but has lost the last three in the series.

KU will continue its road series when it travels to New Mexico State for a 10 a.m. match on Saturday, Feb. 27.
