Saturday’s contests against Oklahoma State is the first of three straight road contests for KU, with matchups at Iowa and Iowa State scheduled next weekend.
The Cowgirls enter the dual with a record of 3-0, boasting wins over Arkansas-Little Rock, Rice and Indiana State. OSU’s date with the Jayhawks will be their first Big 12 dual of the season.
Last season, Oklahoma State clipped Kansas, 4-3, on March 12 in Lawrence. The Jayhawks got singles victories from Smith and Elizaveta Avdeeva, and also won two of the three doubles matches.
