Kansas’ Win Against Texas Tech…
–Gives KU at least seven Big 12 wins for the first time since 1999-2000.

–Halts a three-game skid for the Jayhawks

–Cuts Kansas’ deficit in the all-time series with TTU to 14-5

–Gives Kansas its first win in Lubbock since 1978

–Improves head coach Bonnie Henrickson to 3-8 against Texas Tech, 135-117 at Kansas and 293-179 for her career

–Gives Kansas a 99-155 all-time record in Big 12 play

–Makes KU 732-514 all time.

Team Notes

–Kansas starters (career starts): G Angel Goodrich (69), G Natalie Knight (27), G CeCe Harper (5), F Aishah Sutherland (78) and F Chelsea Gardner (3). This marked the second-straight start for both Harper and Gardner.

–The Jayhawks won the tip, making it the 18th time this season KU has started the game with the ball.

–KU out-rebounded the Red Raiders 69-64, shattering the Jayhawks’ previous high of 51 total rebounds during a contest this season

–Kansas led 31-28 at the half, marking the 20th time this season the Jayhawks went into the lockerroom holding the advantage.

–KU made seven threes on the night, the most for the team this season, off of 50 percent shooting from behind the arc. That percentage is the best from the Kansas squad since Jan. 4 at Texas.

–The Jayhawks made four free throws on the evening, tying for the least free throws made by the team this year.

Individual Notes

–Junior G Angel Goodrich’s eight assists tonight broke the program’s single-season assist record which has stood for more than 20 years. Goodrich’s 208 career dimes pass Lisa Braddy’s 207 assists in 1987-88.

–Goodrich knocked down 20 points, scoring in double figures for the eight-straight game. This also marked the fourth time the Tahlequah, Okla., native has scored 20 or more points in a contest.

–Three three-pointers in a row from Angel Goodrich with 4:04 left in the opening period tied her season high of three makes in a game, a feat she now achieved four times this year.

–Senior F Aishah Sutherland scored in double figures for the 22nd time this year with 15 points and is sits at No. 19 on Kansas’ all-time scoring list with 1,135 points.

–Freshman F Bunny Williams contributed a career-high eight points off of 4-for-8 shooting. Her previous high of seven points came this season against FAU (11-27-11).

–Williams’ 18 minutes of play were the most by the freshman during the Big 12 Conference season.

–Sophomore G CeCe Harper played a career-high 38 minutes during the game, contributing nine points and five rebounds. This was the first time in her career that the sophomore has played more than 30 minutes.

–Freshman G Natalie Knight hit a pair of three-pointers off of 2-for-3 shooting, tying her career high.
