AMES, Iowa – Due to the severe winter weather throughout the Midwest, conference and school officials have elected to push back the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships to Feb. 23-24, it was announced by the league office Thursday night.

The meet to be held in the Lied Recreation Center on the Iowa State Campus was originally scheduled to begin on Thursday, Feb. 22, however some teams and meet officials have been delayed in arriving to Ames, prompting meet directors to reschedule the start of the event.
