LAWRENCE, Kan. — The 75th ranked University of Kansas tennis team will look to extend its four match winning streak when it hits the road this weekend to square off with two top-75 teams. KU will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday, Feb. 25 to take on No. 60 Arkansas and then to Tulsa, Okla. on Sunday for a match with 72nd-ranked Tulsa.

Following a season-opening loss to 31st ranked Indiana, KU has strung together four consecutive victories, including its most recent, a 4-3 win against then-74th ranked Louisville.

With their victories against the Cardinals, sophomore Elizaveta Avdeeva and freshman Yuliana Svistun both remained unbeaten in singles play this season. Also off to a strong start for KU is another freshman, Ksenia Bukina, who’s 4-1 singles record has vaulted her to No. 81 in the ITA singles rankings.

This weekend’s matches will conclude KU’s four game road swing.
