Satellite Radio Adds to Jayhawk Exposure

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas men’s basketball and football will receive even more exposure as the result of an agreement with Sirius/XM satellite radio.

For the rest of this season Sirius/XM subscribers can hear KU men’s basketball regular-season and Big 12 Conference Tournament games. The games can be heard on Sirius Radio Channel 123 and XM Channel 144.

Subscribers can also hear the rest of Head Coach Bill Self’s weekly Hawk Talk shows, which will air tonight (Feb. 23) and then every Monday between March 1 and March 15. These programs can be heard on Sirius Radio Channel 122 and XM Radio Channel 143.

Next season Sirius/XM subscribers will hear KU’s regular-season football and men’s basketball games, and Football Coach Turner Gill and Bill Self’s weekly Hawk Talk shows. The Hawk Talk shows are among the first college coach’s programs aired on satellite radio.
