Each fan attending the 3 p.m. game will receive a royal blue “Beware of the Phog” T-Shirt. Fans are encouraged to wear the shirt, sponsored by Hutton Farms and University National Bank, creating a Blue Phog.

“Before I go out on the court, I usually think about what the atmosphere is going to be like,” said head coach Bill Self. “Every time it is unbelievably a pleasant surprise to me. It seems like the most consistent thing about Allen Fieldhouse is the great fans.”

In addition to the T-Shirts, the jersey retirement for Dave Robisch will happen at halftime. Robisch is the fifth former KU player to have his jersey retired this season. He earned Helms Foundation All-American honors following the 1969-70 and 1970-71 seasons. The Springfield, Ill., 6-10 forward was a three-time All-Big Eight Conference honoree in 1969, ’70 and ’71.

Also at halftime, one lucky fan will have an opportunity to make a half-court shot for $25,000 in the Cingular at the Half Contest.
