Kansas Baseball Alters Weekend Schedule Again

Feb. 25, 2011

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Due to the winter weather which hit the Lawrence area Thursday evening, the Kansas baseball team has cancelled both Saturday games of the Salty Iguana Jayhawk Classic. KU was originally scheduled to meet Saint Louis at 3 p.m., following SLU’s game with Iowa at 11 a.m.

The Jayhawks will now host Iowa in a doubleheader on Sunday, scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch.

Should the weather force the postponement of either or both games on Sunday, KU will likely make the game up with the Hawkeyes on Monday afternoon. Iowa is scheduled to play another opponent, Southern Utah, on Monday at 1 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark.
