LAWRENCE, Kan. — Following an impressive road win at then-No. 72 Tulsa, the University of Kansas tennis team has climbed the ITA national rankings to No. 72, up three spots from its previous mark at No. 75.

“The win over Tulsa was huge for us,” head coach Amy Hall-Holt said. “Hopefully, we can keep picking up wins against quality opponents and continue to move up in the rankings.”

The victory against Tulsa marked the second win for the Jayhawks over a ranked opponent this season, with the first coming by way of a 4-3 win at then-No. 75 Louisville.

KU will look to defend its ranking on Sunday, March 5 when it hosts Texas Tech in the Jayhawk’s Big 12 Conference opener.
