Lawrence Elementary School Challenge Winners Announced

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Broken Arrow Elementary School was declared the winner of Kansas Athletics’ Lawrence Public School Elementary Challenge held during the Jayhawks final two women’s basketball regular season games.

The class with the most combined students to attend both games was Ms. Smith’s Kindergarten class at Deerfield Elementary School.

Ms. Smith’s students will receive a party at Hoglund Ballpark during a KU baseball game this season. Broken Arrow’s principal Brian McCaffrey will determine his school’s grand prize at a later date.

The Lawrence Elementary Public School Challenge took place during games against Kansas State on Feb. 18 and Oklahoma on Feb. 21 at Allen Fieldhouse.
