Land, a junior from Greenwood, Mo., hit .417 for the tournament including two doubles, two home runs and five RBIs in Saturday’s 12-4 KU triumph over Xavier. Land currently leads the team with three home runs and 10 RBIs this season.

Larson, a senior from Paso Robles, Calif., hit .571 (4-for-7) with a pair of doubles and two RBIs in two games during the weekend. Larson started in right field in both KU victories, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs against Xavier and 1-for-3 against Iowa.

Hall, a sophomore from Lee’s Summit, Mo., earned KU’s first win of the weekend, holding Xavier scoreless for seven innings on Saturday. The 6-foot-1 lefty allowed just four hits, while walking one and striking out four to earn his first victory in KU uniform.

The Jayhawks (4-5) will play their home opener Wednesday against Le Moyne College at Hoglund Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
