Gary Woodland Notches Top-Career PGA Tour Finish

Former Jayhawk Gary Woodland recorded the top finish of his young PGA Tour career this past weekend, Feb. 26-March 1, at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun as he finished tied for 28th place.

Woodland finished the event at two under-par with 278 strokes over the four day event. His finish was propelled by a third round 63, the low round of the year for Woodland.

Woodland has now made the cut in three of his six PGA Tour starts.

Woodland previously made the cut at the FBR Open and Buick Invitational. Woodland will next be action this coming weekend, March 5-8, at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., as the PGA Tour begins its Florida swing leading up to the Masters.
