March 2, 2011

Kansas baseball announced Wednesday that it has added a game to its schedule to make up for the contest lost at the Salty Iguana Jayhawk Classic last week. KU will now host North Dakota in a two-game series beginning Tuesday, March 8, after it was originally slated to play just one game against the Fighting Sioux.

The Jayhawks and Sioux will square off at 3 p.m., March 8 and wrap up the series at 3 p.m. March 9.

Kansas is participating in the Coca Cola Surprise Classic in Surprise, Ariz. this weekend. The Jayhawks open the tournament against UC Riverside Thursday at 5 p.m. CST.
