KU Enters Baseball America Poll

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The University of Kansas is ranked 25th in this week’s Baseball America poll. Fresh off a three-game sweep of Western Illinois, the Jayhawks stand at 13-4 overall and are currently on a seven game winning streak.

It marks the first time KU has appeared in the Baseball America poll since March of 2003. The Jayhawks are one of five Big 12 schools to be ranked.

KU will be back in action on Wednesday, March 8, when it hosts Baker at Hoglund Ballpark at 3 p.m. The Jayhawks will then start a tough 10-game road trip with a three-game series at No. 2 Clemson in Clemson, S.C., on Friday, March 10. KU’s road trip will also include games at Baylor, No. 14 Nebraska and Creighton.
