Woodland won the Kansas Invitational and All-American Golf Classic earlier this year. His three-round total of 205 marks his top 54-hole total of the year.

“I am happy to see Gary is continuing to play well,” head coach Ross Randall said. “Other than Gary we didn’t play very well as a team. I was disappointed with the finish coming off of last week’s victory. We are still dealing with a lot of illness throughout our team and coaches and we just need to start feeling better.”

Junior Joey Mundy finished tied for 43rd after firing a final-round 73. Senior Tyler Docking shot a 73 to finish tied for 48th. Freshman Bobby Knowles shot his best round of the tournament in the final-round with a 74 to finish tied for 58th. Freshman Patrick Roth finished tied for 79th with a final-round 85. Freshman David Cosel competed as an individual and finished in 76th after carding an 81 today.

The Jayhawks will next be in action on March 19-20 when they travel to the Western Intercollegiate.
