Tulane Blanks Kansas Tennis, 7-0

March 6, 2010

NEW ORLEANS –

Senior Kunigunda Dorn and freshman Sara Lazarevic won at the No. 2 doubles position, but it wasn’t enough as the Kansas tennis team fell 7-0 to Tulane on Saturday in New Orleans.

The setback dropped KU to 5-4, while Tulane improved to 6-4.

Despite the success at No. 2 doubles, the Jayhawks could not get the doubles point. They battled in singles play, taking four of their six opponents to three sets, but did not come out with any singles victories.

Kansas looks to rebound Sunday versus New Orleans at noon.
