Jayhawks In 10th At Texas A&M "Mo"morial

BRYAN, Texas –

The University of Kansas women’s golf team is currently in 10th place, in an 18-team field, after two rounds of the Texas A&M “Mo”morial. The Jayhawks shot a second round total of 328 at the Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas.

Arkansas grabbed the overall lead after a tournament best 301 for a 608 total, followed by host Texas A&M who has a 610 total.

“We didn’t have a very good round today,” head coach Erin O’Neil said. “Tomorrow we can move up the leaderboard if we play the type of golf I know we can.”

Junior Amanda Costner remained tied for 13th after her 77 gave her a 155 total. Senior Chelsey Pryor shot an 80 and is tied for 30th with a 158 total. Sophomore Annie Giangrosso carded an 80 for a total of 161 and is tied for 37th. Senior Meredith Winkelmann shot a 91 and is in 88th with a 175. Sophomore Sarah Kierl is in 96th with a 188 after a second round of 95.
