Kansas Women's Golf to Compete in Northern Migration Invitational

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women’s golf will travel to Florence, Ariz., to compete in the Northern Migration Invitational March 15-17. The tournament is hosted by Nebraska and is scheduled to be played on Poston Butte golf course.

Kansas’ lineup for the event will consist of Meghna Bal, Emily Powers, Grace Thiry, Jennifer Clark and Meghan Gockel.

“We are looking forward to returning to Arizona and building on the success we had there last week,” said Kansas head coach Erin O’Neil.

The Jayhawks recently competed in the Duramed/Rio Verde Collegiate in Rio Verde, Ariz., where the team took fifth place with a score of 917. Bal led the team as she tied for 15th. Powers tied for 21st, while Thiry finished the event tied for 28th. Rounding out the lineup were Clark and Gockel, who each tied for 37th.
